Tip: Get new users by submitting your landing page to design showcases

Reviews provide strong social proof and lead to more sales. Get more reviews by framing your product as an experience.

If you've got design chops, you can garner interest in your product by showing off its design. Get traffic and signups by submitting your site to UI showcases.

Harsh Vijay of ruttl got a big spike in traffic (from ~25 visitors per week to ~450) and a couple of new users after submitting his website to One Page Love. Design showcase sites like this and Dribbble are unlikely to be the cause of hockey-stick growth, but they can help while you're searching for your first ten customers — especially if you hit the front page like Harsh did. Of course, you'll need a killer design for that. This approach will work best for products that are geared toward designers and developers since that's the primary audience that you'll reach.

Love in the Time of AI Girlfriends

Introduction The idea of AI companionship isn’t new. But the monetization of AI relationships? That’s a whole different story.

What started as chatbots and digital assistants has now turned into AI girlfriends—virtual companions available 24/7, designed to provide emotional support, flirty banter, and even relationship advice.

And yes, people are paying real money for them.

In fact, some influencers are turning themselves into AI girlfriends, cashing in on the loneliness economy while brands are already testing ways to integrate advertising into these digital relationships.

The rise of AI girlfriends: A $5 million per month business In May 2023, Snapchat influencer Caryn Marjorie made headlines when she launched CarynAI, an AI-powered version of herself that offers voice conversations for $1 per minute. Within the first week, the chatbot pulled in $72,000 from 1,000 subscribers. If just 1% of her 1.8 million Snapchat followers signed up, analysts predicted she could rake in $5 million per month.

And of course, Caryn isn’t alone!

Influencers on platforms like TikTok, Snapchat, and OnlyFans are jumping on the AI companionship bandwagon. Some AI girlfriends are simple chatbots, while others are more advanced, integrating voice, video, and even deepfake-generated content. It’s a booming business, and it’s only getting bigger.

AI Workflows 101: Automate Smarter, Grow Faster

Source: Various Sources

Since AI is pretty much running everything these days (including half our to-do list), we figured it’s time this section reflected that too.

From now on, you’ll see more content here around AI automation, smarter workflows, and how to use AI to drive growth.

First, let’s start with some basics - what are AI workflows, and how can you use them?

What are AI workflows?

AI workflows = systems that use AI to run parts of your day automatically. Instead of doing things manually (or switching tabs 20 times), you set up rules and tools that get stuff done for you.

They’re not just about writing content. They can handle:

  • Admin tasks

  • Data processing

  • Decision-making triggers

  • Follow-ups, updates, reminders, syncs—you name it

Think of them as your invisible co-workers who never forget.

2. Why top teams are all-in on AI workflows

Let’s break it down. Why are more founders and marketers leaning into AI-powered workflows?

You save time—a lot of it
Teams using AI shave off ~12.5 hours of work per week. That’s nearly 26 extra working days per year. Imagine what you could do with an extra month… (hint: not chasing status updates or cleaning spreadsheets).

Smarter decisions, without the data headache
AI doesn’t just organize info—it helps you act on it. Instead of drowning in dashboards, it surfaces patterns, pulls insights, and gives you “do this next” suggestions based on what’s actually happening.

Real talk: Even Yum Brands (yep, the folks behind KFC & Pizza Hut) saw more purchases and better engagement just by letting AI guide their marketing decisions.

It scales when your team can’t
AI workflows are like extra hands (that don’t ask for PTO). From content ops to customer outreach, you can do more, without burning out your team or blowing up your budget.

And no—AI isn’t here to replace you. It’s here to handle the boring stuff so you can focus on the real moves.

3. What can you automate?

Here are a few ideas we like:

Zoom → Notion Turn team calls into clean Notion docs with action items, deadlines, and summaries. No more “wait, what did we decide?”

CRM → ABM strategy
Pull data from HubSpot or Salesforce and automatically generate personalized account-based campaigns.

Typeform → Content Guidelines
Collect persona data from a form and instantly turn it into a clear content playbook—tone, topics, channels, all mapped out.

Asana → Blog Outline
Create a project task and let Jasper (or your favorite AI tool) spin up a detailed content outline in a Google Doc.

We’ll be sharing more of these AI workflow/automation ideas (some of them could be easily turned into real business) every week in this section. This is just the beginning.

Let us know if you’ve automated something cool—we might include it in the next edition.

Thank you for reading! ✌️

We look forward to sharing more with you next week. Stay tuned!
